During the third quarter, the export of dairy products from the United Kingdom increased by 5.5% compared to the same period in 2024 to 294 thousand tons, and in value terms – by 13.7% to 529 million British pounds, according to data from the British Council for the Development of Agriculture and Horticulture. The trend from the beginning of the year is also positive, with December already reaching last year's level of 1.6 billion pounds. The council points to the strategy for promoting high-quality British dairy products on the markets in Asia and North America as the main factors for the growth, and more specifically to the efforts in this direction in Thailand and the USA, especially regarding cheeses. They highlight that the undertaken actions are fully in line with the growing global appetite for quality cheeses and dairy products with high added value.
