Due to the blockade of the Polish border, Ukrainian importers have increased their supply of vegetables and fruits from Turkey, with imports through Bulgaria, Romania, and Moldova. Turkish products, including citrus fruits, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, and eggplants, now make up almost 40% of the Ukrainian market, with a 15-18% increase compared to the previous year. Market operators continue to import Italian, Spanish, and other European goods, albeit with delays and higher prices, but quickly adapt to changing conditions to prevent shortages in the market.
