The successful completion of the resident-led rural spatial planning pilot project in Jugok-myeon, Gimje.

The Jeonbuk Regional Office of the Korea Rural Community Corporation (Head Kim Dong-in) recently announced that it successfully concluded a total of three resident joint study sessions following the selection of Gimje City's Jugsan-myeon as a target area for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' resident participation rural space planning pilot project. This joint study is significant as it aims to establish a rural plan through a process where residents recognize problems and seek solutions on their own. The resident participation rural space planning pilot project is being conducted in 10 towns and townships across the country, with two areas (Gimje City's Jugsan-myeon and Gunsan City's Gaejeong-myeon) selected in Jeonbuk.
