Ukraine has seen a positive balance in its agricultural trade with the European Union, with domestic exports increasing by $ 0.8 billion more than procurement from EU member states, leading to a balance of $ 2.4 billion. The Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Italy, Spain, and France are the main trading partners, accounting for 71% of the turnover of mutual trade in agricultural goods. Domestic exporters have fully utilized duty-free export quotas for supplies to the EU of several agricultural products. The increase in agricultural exports is due to higher prices in the global market for grain and oilseeds and expectations of a good harvest.
