In the eleventh month of 2024, Vietnam witnessed a notable decline in pepper export volume but a significant increase in export value compared to the same period in 2023. The country exported over 235,000 tons of pepper, predominantly black pepper, and white pepper, earning approximately US$1.22 billion. The United States emerged as the largest market, showing a 41.1% increase, while the UAE and Germany also saw substantial growth. Several countries, including the Netherlands, South Korea, Pakistan, Canada, Russia, and the United Kingdom, experienced double-digit export growth. Conversely, pepper imports from Brazil decreased by 39.9%.
