The Valencian Government simplifies the process of obtaining the European label authorization for fruits and vegetables

The Department of Agriculture, Water, Livestock, and Fisheries has updated the regulation of the European label for Valencian fruits, vegetables, and bananas, allowing operators with high quality standards to distinguish their products in the European market. The Official Gazette of the Valencian Government (DOGV) has published the Order establishing the procedure for authorizing the use of the European label in compliance in the fruit, vegetable, and banana sector. This label, regulated by the European Union's Implementing Regulation (2023/2430), will allow operators, through recognized internal quality controls and a history of rigorous compliance, to identify their products with an official European distinctive mark.
