Vietnamese fruit and vegetable exports have seen a significant growth, reaching a record high of $5.6 billion in 2023, a 66.7% increase from the previous year. These products are being exported to over 60 countries, including high-end markets such as the US, EU, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Despite this, Vietnam only accounts for 2-3% of the world's total fruit and vegetable exports. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam predicts that exports could reach $6.5-7 billion in 2024, indicating a strong potential for further growth.
