Tomato maintains sanity, despite foci of whitefly

The tomato crop is developing as expected in Rio Grande do Sul, according to the Conjunctural Report released by Emater/RS-Ascar this Thursday (25). In the administrative region of Lajeado, in the municipality of Vale Real, the field-grown crops continue to perform well throughout the production cycle. In the protected environment crops, technicians are observing the presence of whiteflies, which have caused localized losses on some properties.
