I wrote – Dina Khaled: The prices of onions, local eggplant, okra, and girlish grape leaves increased, during today's trading, compared to yesterday's Sunday prices, in the transit market for wholesale trade. On the other hand, the prices of tomatoes, zucchini, hot peppers, green cucumbers, and mallow decreased. Masrawy monitors the prices of a number of the most prominent varieties of vegetables and fruits per kilo in the Obour Market during today’s trading, according to the Obour Market website. Tomatoes range between 2.75 pounds and 5 pounds, a decrease of 50 piasters. Potatoes range from 4 pounds to 5.5 pounds. Onions range between 8.5 pounds and 12 pounds, with an increase of one pound. Zucchini between 4 and 7 pounds, down two pounds. Beans range from 9 pounds to 13 pounds.
