The Grain Marketing Board (GMB) of Zimbabwe has received US$13 million and ZiG$115 million from the Treasury to settle payments for grain delivered by farmers. The funds are being processed for disbursement, with the ZiG$115 million likely to be used for maize and small grains. The GMB CEO, Edson Badarai, expressed gratitude for farmers' continued delivery and announced a new producer price for wheat. However, there are concerns about the long delay in payment, especially with the start of the 2024/25 season.
