The Turkestan region in Kazakhstan is focusing on enhancing livestock farming to boost production, with a significant investment of 3.5 billion tenge for a feedlot that can house 5,000 head of cattle and produce 4,000 tons of meat per year. This project, currently under construction, is set to be completed in two months. In addition to this large-scale project, the region already has 22 feedlots with a capacity for 46.5 thousand livestock spaces, showing a substantial commitment to improving livestock farming.
