Turkey, Egypt and Morocco are at the forefront of fig production

Turkey is the largest fig-growing country on Earth, with Egypt in second place and Morocco, also in North Africa, in third place. In one year, 310,000 tons of figs were grown in Turkey, leading this ranking. Egypt and Morocco still reached the world podium podium with 225,000 and 153,000 tons, respectively.
