Turkey procured at auction the planned 250 thousand tons of feed barley, prices increased compared to the previous tender procedure with one exception.

The State Turkish Grain Board (TMO) has purchased a planned 250,000 tons of feed barley at an international tender, reported the online edition APK-Inform, citing its sources among market participants. The delivery of a total of 12 batches of 5, 10, 25, and 50 thousand tons has been agreed, with prices on a C&F basis ranging from 257.90 to 262 dollars per ton, and on an EXW basis (risks after delivery to the port are borne by the buyer, including during unloading) – from 252.80 to 265.60 dollars per ton. For comparison – the previous tender for the import of feed barley into Turkey, held at the end of September, saw the purchase of the planned 255,000 tons of feed barley at prices between 248.90 and 251.67 dollars per ton C&F and between 251.90 and 294 dollars per ton EXW, and at the last successful tender for import into Jordan, the delivery of 60,000 tons of arbitrary origin was agreed at a planned 120,000 tons for 259.65 dollars per ton C&F.
