In the past four months, Turkey has exported honey to 40 countries, generating an income of $11,477,245 from the sale of 3,700 tons of honey. The United States, Germany, and Spain were the top buyers, with the exports valued at $3,963,636, $3,126, and $1,576, respectively. Other countries including Slovenia, the Philippines, the Czech Republic, France, Albania, Nepal, Switzerland, and Morocco also made purchases. Saffet Kalyoncu, Chairman of the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association, expressed optimism about the future growth of honey exports, leveraging Turkey's rich plant diversity and endemic flora.
