Legislators from the Sebei sub region have tasked the government to compensate their constituents for cattle lost during the insurgency in north-eastern Uganda nearly 20 years ago. While addressing the media on Friday, Kween MP William Chemonges asked the government to include the districts in Sebei Sub-region among those that should be compensated as a result of cattle rustling. "I get surprised when government talks of verification which is yet to go on without including Sebei in the conversation of compensation. We lost many people and cows. Many people are orphans. But we Sebei are not listed anywhere. I need an answer for Sebei," he said.
