Between January and August of 2024, Ukraine saw a significant increase in the export of live sheep and goats, with a total weight of 652 tons, marking an 87.9% increase from the same period in the previous year. These exports earned the country $717,000, a 86.2% increase in revenue, mainly due to high demand from Lebanon, which accounted for 97.2% of the purchases, with Jordan making up the remaining 2.8%.
