Ukraine has emerged as a leading global exporter of frozen raspberries, with exports doubling over the past three seasons despite challenges such as war, labor shortages, and power outages. The country now ranks among the top 5 exporters worldwide and leads in net exports, surpassing Poland and Serbia. This success is attributed to the expansion of raspberry cultivation areas, support from state grant programs, and increased demand for seedlings, despite weather challenges. The raspberry industry's growth is creating new job opportunities, particularly in the Lviv region. Although the industry currently competes on price, experts recommend focusing on quality to maintain a competitive edge and tap into the market for premium raspberries.
