Ukraine plans to significantly expand the geography of its exports by the end of the year.

The State Consumer Service has exceeded the annual plan for opening new markets for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products, but expects to expand by three more positions by the end of the year. This was stated by Serhiy Tkachuk, head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection, reports Ukrinform. According to Tkachuk, Ukraine has significantly accelerated the processes of opening markets. The official emphasized that today some processes are completed in one and a half years, whereas previously it took up to five years. Tkachuk added that the State Consumer Service, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ukrainian business, is intensifying work with African countries, including through the opening of new diplomatic missions.
