Ukraine will replace its own horseradish with imported horseradish

According to experts, horseradish has run out in trading networks in Ukraine, forcing producers to switch to imports. This is reported by UNIAN. The first to signal the shortage of horseradish on store shelves were residents of Kharkiv, where horseradish sauces disappeared from both local and national networks. But as it turned out, the situation is no better in other cities, including the capital. Consumers say that in different stores, even within the same network, the situation with horseradish varies – but if it is still available, it is mostly old stock. New batches are not arriving. Seasonal factors have compounded the symptomatic diseases of the Ukrainian economy during the war, including the shortage of personnel. Because of this, domestic producers are even forced to purchase imported horseradish, although they hope that everything will soon be resolved with the receipt of a new late harvest.
