Ukrainian farmers sowed nearly half a million hectares with spring crops

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has reported significant progress in the sowing of grain and leguminous crops across the country, totaling 476.7 thousand hectares. This includes a variety of crops such as wheat, barley, peas, and oats, with Poltava Oblast leading the effort, particularly in cereal, legume, and sugar beet cultivation. Additionally, the onset of sunflower and soybean sowing has been noted in the Kyiv and Vinnytsia regions, respectively, marking a crucial phase in the agricultural calendar.
