For the first time, the annual tariff quota for the export of 30 thousand tons of Ukrainian flour to the EU, introduced in 2025, provides the domestic flour milling business with opportunities for long-term planning of its activities. This was stated by the director of the association Flour Millers of Ukraine, Rodion Rybchinsky. "This decision opens up the possibility of long-term planning. Export-oriented enterprises have already invested about 17 million euros in modernization, and now they understand that these investments will have a future," emphasized the head of the association. He recalled that until 2022, flour exports were extremely difficult because they took place within a joint quota with wheat.
