Soybean processors are not much better off than other oilseeds. While expecting a soybean harvest by 1 million tons more than last year, farmers are holding back sales. This opinion was expressed by the commercial director of the Pologovskiy Macroextraction Plant (MEP) Alexander Lozychenko, writes Latifundist.com. Due to limited supplies, processors are forced to pay a premium of $ 60-70 against the price taking into account the logistics to the port terminals. “And all this against the background of a decrease in the production of cattle and chicken.
