A report by the Latin America Department of Market Economics forecasts a significant increase in the production of pork, beef, and poultry in Latin America from 2021 to 2032. Pork production is expected to grow the most, with an estimated 11.7% increase, reaching 14 million tons by 2032. Beef production is projected to grow slightly at 0.5%, while poultry production is expected to surge by 17.1%, reaching 23.6 million tons. The report also anticipates a decrease in the consumption of beef, veal, and lamb, with pork set to become the most consumed meat in the region by 2032.
