This week, the cold front acting over Brazil advances and spreads rain over areas of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and the Midwest, helping to replenish soil moisture and boost the pace of sowing for the 2025/26 crop. In the South of the country, the forecast indicates the return of precipitation to Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, and Paraná starting from Friday (17) and Saturday (18), with the arrival of a new cold front. This rain is essential to keep the soil moist and ensure good conditions for planting. Meanwhile, the Matopiba region remains under attention due to the lack of rain. The good news is that, between October 19 and 23, precipitations should finally advance to the south-central Bahia and part of Tocantins, with volumes of up to 50 millimeters and alleviating the heat and dry weather.
