The U.S. Senate approved in a vote on the afternoon of Thursday, the 30th, the end of the emergency that determines the imposition of tariffs on partner countries, on the so-called "Liberation Day." The vote tally of 51 in favor and 47 against had the support of four Republicans - Lisa Murkowski, from Alaska; Susan Collins, from Maine; and Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell, from Kentucky.
The approval comes after similar resolutions regarding tariffs imposed on Brazil and Canada have already passed through the House.
