The Ukrainian Grain Association (UZA) has projected a decrease in the harvest of grain and oil crops in 2024, with an estimated yield of 76.1 million tons compared to 82.6 million tons in 2023. The decline is attributed to a reduction in sown areas due to unfavorable price conditions and costly export logistics. The 2024/2025 exports are expected to be around 43.7 million tons. The forecasted harvest includes 20 million tons of wheat, 4.6 million tons of barley, 26.3 million tons of corn, 13.7 million tons of sunflower, 4.2 million tons of rapeseed, and 5.5 million tons of soybeans.
