Vegetable and fruit prices declined on Wednesday 10-9-2024, with tomatoes ranging from 16 to 20 pounds, onions of all kinds from 18 to 22, potatoes from 15 to 25 pounds, cucumbers and zucchini from 16 pounds, colored peppers and carrots from 40 pounds, grapes, guava, figs, persimmons from 30 to 45 pounds, and white garlic from 120 pounds, according to a number of traders in the markets. Vegetable prices in the Obour market The traders added that the tomato crate in the Obour market ranged from 300 to 450 pounds, peppers from 10 pounds, lemons from 10 pounds, zucchini from 12 pounds, cucumbers from 12 pounds, and eggplant from 7 pounds. Traders explained that the price of lettuce is 15 pounds per unit for the consumer, broccoli is 20 pounds, red and white cabbage is 20 pounds, molokhia is 15 pounds per kilo, grape leaves are 65 pounds, and okra is 80 pounds.
