The current consumption ratio is: 28% for the domestic market, approximately 70% for border trade exports, and 5% to 7% for legitimate trade exports. To meet export demand, the province has developed over 10,000 hectares of mango planting areas with approved codes (353 codes), and there are hundreds of packaging and initial processing enterprises serving legitimate trade exports. Most orchards produce according to the Vietnam Good Agricultural Practices (VietGAP) standards. An important prerequisite is the combination of geographical indication registration and planting area code management.
