In January 2025, Vietnam emerged as the world's largest coffee exporter, shipping out 154,635 tons of coffee, with a value of 799.48 million USD. This represents a significant increase in value despite a decrease in volume. Green coffee exports saw a notable drop but an increase in value, largely driven by FDI enterprises, while processed coffee exports experienced a surge in both volume and value. Germany, Italy, and Spain were the top destinations for Vietnam's coffee exports, which are expected to rise to 24.4 million bags due to improved supply, aligning with a global forecast of increased coffee consumption for the 2024-2025 crop year.
