The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (AESAN) has issued a warning about the presence of metallic fragments in the confit duck liver in port wine, from the brand Bioporc, initially distributed in Catalonia, as specified in a statement this Friday. The health authorities of France have notified this alert through the European Food Alert Network (RASFF), a portal through which AESAN itself became aware of it. The affected product is batch R052a of confit duck liver in port wine from the Bioporc brand, packaged in a glass jar with a metal lid, weighing 120 grams and with an expiration date of February 28, 2029.
