Polish Minister of Agriculture, Robert Telus, expressed his hope that Ukraine does not impose an embargo on Polish fruits and vegetables, believing it would worsen the situation. Telus stated that there is currently no confirmation of such restrictions, and that the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products through Poland is uninterrupted. The possibility of a trade embargo arose as a response to unilateral restrictions imposed by Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia, to which the Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade, Taras Kachka, expressed hope that a trade embargo against Poland will not be necessary.
