In October and November, a survey was conducted on 2272 farms, which indicates that the economic situation in Polish agriculture worsened in the fourth quarter of 2025. The Institute of Economic Development of the Warsaw School of Economics (IRG SGH) conducts the agricultural economic situation survey cyclically. "The value of the IRG SGH economic situation indicator (IRGAGR) decreased by 4.3 points compared to the third quarter. Nevertheless, it remains higher than a year ago (by 2.0 points). The deterioration in the agricultural economic situation is therefore seasonal. However, it should be noted that the growth rate of the IRGAGR indicator over the year is slowing down, which usually heralds the arrival of a downturn.
