In Ukraine, the wheat market last week was dominated by downward price dynamics, writes APK-Inform. This situation was caused by a decrease in demand from traders and the corresponding dynamics in the export market. The slowdown in shipment rates at ports and the closure of some contracts also put pressure on prices. Processor demand remained high, but procurement and production volumes fell slightly amid constant power outages. However, the high production costs and expensive logistics continued to support prices. Demand prices for 2nd class wheat and feed were recorded mostly within 9700-10700 and 8600-9800 UAH/t CPT, and at Ukrainian ports in the ranges of 208-216 and 197-208 USD/t CPT-port.
