Wheat market remains slow at year-end

The wheat market maintains a reduced pace in the final stretch of the year, with limited operations and little buying disposition. According to TF Agroeconomica, the slowdown extends across the main producing regions, even with punctual price adjustments and the advancement of the harvest. In Rio Grande do Sul, mills are working with values between R$ 1,100.00 and R$ 1,150.00, while at the port the indications reach R$ 1,180.00 for December and R$ 1,190.00 for January. Wheat destined for feed remains close to R$ 1,120.00 and R$ 1,130.00, and the price to the producer remains at R$ 54.00 in Panambi, with no signs of change in the short term. In Santa Catarina, the environment remains stalled, influenced by the preparation of mills for the holiday period and the receipt of volumes still linked to the harvest.
