Wheat starts the week in a slow manner

The Brazilian wheat market started the week at a slow pace and with pressured prices, especially in Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná, according to information from TF Agroeconômica. Recent rains and the devaluation of the dollar have contributed to the contraction of business, while mills remain cautious and part of the regions begin the resumption of the harvest. In Rio Grande do Sul, the scenario is one of "hangover" after the weekend's rainfall, which varied between 3 mm and 60 mm, without major impacts on the crops. Sunday and Monday were marked by sun and winds, allowing the harvest to resume in some areas. However, the market was virtually halted due to the fall of the dollar.
