Wine grape purchases have begun in Sarıgöl.

In the district of Sarıgöl in Manisa, purchases of wine grapes for the year 2025 have begun. Grapes from the Sultaniye vineyards, which are not suitable for table use, are being collected and purchased at 12 TL per kilogram, then transported by truck to wine factories in Tarsus, Mersin. Following the announcement by the raki factory in Alaşehir district that it will start purchasing grapes in August, producers have begun directing their unmarketable grapes to wine factories. Speaking at a grape purchasing center, producer Halil Duran said, "Our grape purchasing prices have started at 12 lira. May our season be blessed."
