According to a report by the Mexican website "oem" on October 1, this competition featured over 2,500 liquor samples from 70 countries and regions, with 140 judges from more than 40 countries and regions conducting blind evaluations of the liquor samples. Mexico topped the medal table, securing 155 medals, followed by China (97 medals), France (90 medals), and Italy (66 medals). Notably, Mexico also achieved the best performance in the tequila category, winning 62 medals.
