With over 80% of fertilizers imported, Commission debates reactivation of national factories

The National Integration and Regional Development Commission of the Chamber of Deputies (Cindre) will hold a public hearing next Tuesday (21) to discuss the National Fertilizer Plan and the need to reactivate nitrogen fertilizer factories in Bahia and Sergipe. The debate was requested by Deputy João Daniel (PT-SE) and will be held starting at 9:30 AM, in a plenary session to be defined. Currently, more than 87% of the fertilizers used by agriculture are imported.
