99% of the areas planted with autumn crops have been harvested, according to data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (MAF). The production obtained shows a significant increase on an annual basis, experts report. For wheat, the harvested grain shows a growth of over 12% to 7,251 million tons from 6,467 million tons in 2024. The harvested areas with the crop this year are 10% higher than last year's, experts note. The average yields per hectare also show an increase of nearly 2% - from 569 kg/ha in 2024 to 579 kg/ha this year. The barley harvest is also coming to an end. Almost 100% of the crops have been harvested, which this year are nearly 20% more than last year's.
