Trade turnover of agricultural products between Russia and Vietnam has grown by 12% since the beginning of the year

Increasing trade in agricultural products and cooperation in the field of veterinary and phytosanitary supervision were discussed by Deputy Minister of Agriculture Sergey Levin and Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agrarian Development of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Thanh Nam. The meeting took place at the Russian Ministry of Agriculture. As Sergei Levin noted, the close interaction of the relevant departments and businesses of the two countries, as well as the possibility of a preferential trade regime between the EAEU and Vietnam, made it possible to significantly increase the turnover of agricultural products and food. So, following the results of ten months of this year, mutual supplies increased by 12% to $ 796 million.
