European Union soybean imports for the 2023/24 season have increased slightly compared to the previous year, while rapeseed imports have decreased. Russia remains the key supplier of rapeseed meal to the EU, with other significant exporters including Belarus and Ukraine. Sunflower meal imports from Ukraine have decreased, while Argentina has increased its supply to the EU. Overall, the EU has imported almost 200 thousand tons more of sunflower and rapeseed meal in the current season compared to the same period last year.
