A company that combats pests without chemical residues wins the Agroinnova Awards by Mercalicante

Nest Biocontrol has won the first prize of the III edition of the Agroinnova Awards by Mercalicante, awards that recognize innovation, sustainability, and the transformation of the agri-food sector. Their project, focused on the decentralized production of beneficial insects through Mobile Production Units (MPUs), has been awarded the prize of 2,000 euros for its ability to combat pests effectively and without generating chemical residues, eliminating the dependence on centralized biofactories and significantly reducing the carbon footprint in crops such as citrus fruits and table grapes.
