Agrometeorologist Dragomir Atanasov has reported that elevated temperatures in southwestern regions have caused winter cereals and alfalfa to resume vegetation. However, temperatures are expected to drop in the next seven days, with daily averages exceeding the first half of January's norms but falling short of the biological minimum for wheat and barley vegetation. The crops are currently in various growth phases, and no critical minimum temperatures are expected. The forecasted precipitation is expected to increase soil moisture reserves.
