Abundant fruit exports, businesses collect record-high revenue

Preliminary statistics from the Customs Department show that Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports in September 2025 are estimated to reach 1.4 billion USD, a sharp increase of 47.2% compared to August and 52.7% compared to the same period last year. This is the highest historical record for Vietnam's fruit and vegetable export industry in a single month, surpassing all previous forecasts. This level is also equivalent to the export turnover of wood and wood products, the top item in the agricultural sector. For the first nine months of 2025, fruit and vegetable exports are estimated to reach 6.22 billion USD, an increase of 10.3% compared to the same period in 2024.
