On the occasion of the upcoming Sratsimir Village Fair, which takes place on October 27, the local agricultural cooperative "Slogan" is selling lambs, produced in-house, at preferential prices. The price is 8 BGN/kg live weight, while currently lambs are priced at 10-12 BGN/kg. The "Slogan" agricultural cooperative was registered in 1993 and has been operating successfully for over 30 years, being one of the few in the country where, in addition to crop farming, livestock farming is also developed. A week before the fair - on Saturday, October 18, the village of Sratsimir in Silistra will celebrate 195 years since its establishment. It was founded by people who moved from the Razgrad villages of Krivnya, Osenets, Ushintsi, and Sadina. The church was built in 1857, and the first school was opened in 1858.
