The potential for growth is estimated at 27%
The export of the regions of the Siberian Federal District is expected to reach 3.3 billion dollars by 2030 — 27% higher than the 2024 level, reported the head of the federal center "Agroexport" Ilya Ilyushin. As in the whole of Russia, the main item of supply from the Siberian regions are grains and legumes: the share of the Siberian Federal District in the total volume of grain exports is about 5%. And if in general by 2030 Russia should increase grain shipments by 14%, almost to 20 billion dollars, then the export of grain from Siberia by that time should increase fourfold and approach 700 million dollars, noted Ilyushin.
Also, the Siberian regions actively supply oilseed products to foreign markets, in particular rapeseed oil. In 2024, the share of the Siberian Federal District in its total export was more than 12%, oilseed products in general — 3.4%, cited the head of "Agroexport". By 2030, foreign sales of oilseed products by Siberian regions should exceed 300 million dollars.
