In the first half, foreign sales reached US$ 61.5 billion, an increase of 20.8% compared to the first six months of last year. Among the most sold items abroad, the main one was soybeans, with revenues of US$ 5.3 billion, an increase of 23.4% compared to the same month in 2020. The product had a participation of 43.8% in the total shipments. In second place was raw cane sugar, with growth of 30.1% compared to June last year, reaching US$ 821.9 million. According to CNA, other products stood out in foreign sales. The most significant increases in revenue from product exports in June this year in the monthly comparison with 2020 were for plywood or plywood (+291.3%), non-carded and combed cotton (+111.4%) and chicken meat in natura (+46.3%).
