Agrofirm "Olgopol" has successfully completed the autumn sowing campaign for winter crops, reports "ProAgro Group." According to the company, winter wheat covered 2022 hectares, winter rapeseed 1098 hectares, and winter barley 200 hectares. High-quality varieties and drought-resistant hybrids were preferred when selecting seeds. Currently, friendly shoots are already well noticeable on all winter rapeseed areas. The first wave of sowing has also emerged on wheat and barley fields. Thanks to mild weather conditions and sufficient moisture levels, the crops have favorable conditions for formation and rooting. "Climate change forces us to adapt not only technologies but also the structure of sowing. We are deliberately increasing the areas under winter wheat—it is the base crop of our economy.
