Agroexport named promising countries for supplies of Russian sausages

Promising countries for increasing exports of sausage products from Russia are the countries of the Middle East and Africa, as well as Azerbaijan and Armenia. This was reported in the review of the Federal Center for the Development of Agricultural Exports (“Agroexport”, owned by the Ministry of Agriculture). They clarified that this list includes Azerbaijan, Angola, Armenia, Benin, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Serbia and Uzbekistan. The high attractiveness of these markets in the center was explained by their serious price environment and the prevailing conditions, including “the permissible level of customs and tariff burden and significant potential for growth in imports of the export-oriented product under study.” The review analyzes the average retail prices for sausages, sausages and other delicacies for these products in each of the importing countries.
