This last item began to be distributed thanks to a partnership with the Agrosolidário program, from the Soybean and Corn Producers Association of Mato Grosso (Aprosoja MT), as a way to offer a nutritional alternative to the elderly served. AAPI's president, Hercílio Girardi, says the association was founded on January 7, 2012, with the goal of supporting elderly people in vulnerable situations through essential items, as well as diapers and basic food baskets.
